Kevon Cronin is a film and television composer whose music can be heard in such projects as the Lifetime miniseries The Red Tent (Minnie Driver, Rebecca Ferguson), Hannibal Pictures’ USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage (Nicholas Cage, Tom Sizemore, Thomas Jane), the feature-length documentary Finding Noah (Gary Sinise), Momentum (Morgan Freeman, James Purefoy, Olga Kurylenko), Paco Cabezas’ Rage (Nicolas Cage, Peter Stormare, Rachel Nichols), and the U.K. television series The Missing Evidence among many others. Kevon also had the honour of orchestrating Hulu’s first scripted television series Battleground and the Dreamwork’s animated short Madly Madagascar (Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith).

Kevon's scores have been featured in film festivals and theaters throughout the world including the Cannes Court Metrage,  the Austin Film Festival, the BendFilm Festival, the L.A. United Film Festival, the World Film Festival, Film Row Cinema, the El Cid Theater, the St. Louis Filmmaker’s Showcase, the Noor Film Festival, the East Lansing Film Festival, the Bel-Air Film Festival, Sony Pictures Studios, TIFF, and Raleigh Studios Hollywood.

Following a youth spent in choirs and vocal ensembles and studying piano, voice, and flute, Kevon attended one of Canada’s most prestigious universities, Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Composition with the distinction of University Scholar and was awarded the E.A. Collins Award in Music Composition .

After studying composition with Juno award-winning composer Dr. Derek Charke, audio engineering with Dr. Christoph Both and Don Chapman, and electronic music with Dr. Steven Naylor, Kevon turned his focus to his true passion, film scoring, by pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago. Kevon is privileged to have studied under Oscar and Grammy Award winner Andy Hill, former VP of Music Production at Disney, and two-time Emmy-award winning composer/arranger Hummie Mann.

Following his studies, Kevon moved to Los Angeles, California where he interned for composer Brian Tyler (
Fast Five, Terra Nova, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), orchestrated for Heitor Pereira (The Smurfs, Despicable Me) and wrote additonal music for Laurent Eyquem (Rage, The Red Tent, Finding Noah, and Momentum).
